Ed and the boys are fantastic, high quality work, easy to talk to, easy to understand, take the time thg o explain what needs to be done on your car, not only on transmissions but on all facets of auto mechanics.very reasonably priced, very honest very fair. Been going their since 1990 when his dad was still running the show. Won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thank you Eddie, and crew

The folks at Stop & Go are truly the best in the business. Ed and his employees have helped my partner and I over the years with everything from starter replacements to brakes to transmissions. The prices are beyond fair and the sevice is fast and flexible. And Ed is such an honest and amazing person!

Go ahead, Make Ed's Day! What a wonderful place to take your car for your transmission and oil change. The owner Ed is fabulous! His crew is top notch. My family's safety is everything and knowing that my car is in tip top shape is priceless. He has fair prices and great customer service. Call them and see for yourself! P.S. if he can't pick up right away leave him a message and he will call you back in a timely manner.

Great service and a friendly staff. This family owned business is fabulous! They explain the details about the work your car needs and if you do not need service, they are honest about that too. The location is easy to get to and close to Fairfield as well which made it convenient. I very highly recommended going to Stop & Go Transmissions & Auto Center.

I really can’t say enough good things. Ed and his crew went so out of their way for us. He spoke to and followed all the protocol for us to get money from our warranty WHILE ALSO not comprising his own work ethic and what he thought was best for our car. He advised us so well, to get a new transmission instead of a used one and he explained to us why and gave us proof of other jobs he’s had relating to our same car. He was communicative with us through the entire thing and got it back to us as fast as he could. Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work!!

Ed is very knowledgeable and help Me decide the best option for my 20 year old Lexus es 300 to take on the great dilemma of when is it time to give up on a car transmission problems and scrap it or fix it. Well I am on the last leg of my efforts to scrap the car or fix it. If the pre programmed computer from Flagship One fails to get this car shifting again Im giving up and scraping the car and ending its years of service.

Great shop and a Great bunch of people helping get you back on the road for a fair price. They have helped me out more than once and always put my mind at ease. Buying a new car is not always in the budget and buying a used car comes with the old owners secrets. Keep your own car on the road and save yourself money and problems.

I've been going to Stop & Go Transmissions for 2 years now. I first went to them when my transmission was leaking, Toyota quoted me $7,000. They fixed it for less than $2,000 including a minor axle repair. These are generations on experience caring for your car. I met the grandad, father, and son, how awesome is that!!!! They now manage all my car needs, including regular servicing like transmission fluid and oil changes. They are honest and fair with pricing, and I truly appreciate how they explain things and recommend the best options for me, even if it saves money! It is great to have a local shop that can truly be trusted, no price gouging from these guys. Most recently my check engine light was on and they did the diagnostics for free and referred me back to Toyota. Unfortunately, wasn't something they Stop and Go could fix, needed to be taken to the deal and ended up costing me an arm and a leg. The diagnostics alone was over $200. Need I say more!

Without a doubt the nicest people around. They know what they're doing and get the job done. They are honest and explained everything in great detail. My transmission failed and there was a warranty. They fought for me and got it approved. Saved me almost $6,000. I would highly recommend them for any of your autos needs. I will definitley be going back

I was recommended to come to this shop for a second opinion on what I thought was a transmission issue. Ed was absolutely the best and really eased my mind about my vehicle. Very knowledgeable and super nice. I highly recommend this shop!!
